Two sizes, and they take up the same space on your driveway. The 12-yard has lower walls and handles the heavy material, while the 16-yard is taller and gives you more room for bigger cleanouts and remodels.
Not sure which one fits your job? Tell Jeff what you're working on and he'll help you pick.
Concrete, dirt, shingles, and plaster-and-lath aren't treated like ordinary household debris. Those materials go in the 12-yard dumpster only. The first 1,000 pounds is included. After that, heavy material is charged at $50 per ton, based on the scale ticket.
One published price. No weight math.
1,000 lbs included · $50/ton after, off the scale ticket. The full rule.
That's especially worth knowing if you're working on an older Richmond-area house. Plaster and lath can look like a normal demolition load, but it gets heavy in a hurry. If you're opening walls in an older home, mention it when you call Jeff.
Pick the rental period that fits the job. You can choose 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days when you book.
| Size | 1 Day | 3 Days | 7 Days |
|---|---|---|---|
| 12-Yard Dumpster | $295 | $325 | $375 |
| 16-Yard Dumpster | $325 | $375 | $425 |
No complicated rental plans. Just pick the timeframe you need. If the project takes longer than expected, don't panic: call Jeff and he'll work out an extension with you.
You don't need to know the difference between a 12-yard and a 16-yard before you call, because what you're throwing away matters more than how much of it there is. Tell Jeff three things and he'll pick the size with you:
1
A garage, a kitchen, a full house, a roof.
2
Furniture and drywall, or concrete and shingles.
3
One room or the entire property.
You pick when you book: 1 day, 3 days, or 7 days. The 12-yard runs $295, $325 and $375 for those, and the 16-yard runs $325, $375 and $425. If the job runs long, call and Jeff will work out the extension with you.
Normal household and remodel debris is a flat rate with no weight math at all. The exception is concrete, dirt, shingles and plaster and lath: those include 1,000 lbs and bill $50 a ton past it, off the scale ticket. They also go in the 12-yard only.
Wall height, nothing else. The footprints match at 12 by 6 feet. The 12's lower walls make it the hand-loading and heavy-material dumpster; the 16's taller walls buy the extra room a full-house job needs.
Five things: appliances with freon, TVs, propane tanks, tires, and large pails of paint or other liquids. Pretty much everything else is fair game. Concrete, dirt, shingles and plaster and lath are accepted under the heavy material rate in the 12-yard.
No. Dumpster rental is a service, and services aren't taxed in Indiana. The price you're quoted covers delivery, pickup and the dump fee, and that's the price on the invoice.
